Our days are full of tasks and most of our time is generally spent on our busy schedules. Although, we look forward our weekends, we still might spend our leisure days still on a schedule, doing household chores, running errands, and doing homework or other things that aren’t fun or relaxing. Well I’m tired of the busy go-go-go. My kids always look forward to the weekends too, but little time is actually spent on fun or being mindful together. So I have created a challenge for myself to clear my Saturdays and leave it open for a fun day. To spend the day doing something joyful. To live in the moment and feel free. To say yes, when my kids what me to do something, instead of saying “maybe later.” I challenge you all to do the same. To do only the things that make you happy one day a week. Designate which day works best for you and your family. We all deserve 1 full day of doing what we want, when we want. To be completely mindful of our surroundings and our family. To listen to our loved ones and to really hear them. To connect. To maintain a strong bond. To live. To try something new. Take turns choosing how to spend your time together. I look forward to creating everlasting memories with my family. So let’s get started with another Mindful2happy challenge.
