Stop being be mad at yourself for not changing so easily. Change is possible for those that want to change.
Changing a behavior that does not serve you, is not as simple as you might expect. Most importantly, you have to have the desire to change to actually make a change and maintain the new behavior. Change does not go over well through pressure nor can you expect someone else to change because you want to. Yes, you changing will likely positively impact your relationships which is great, but you bettering yourself should be for you first and foremost.
To change, you will need to keep an open mind and routinely provide yourself positive feedback. Changing a habit will be an everyday challenge. It will be a daily practice that may not always be easy. You will need to be consistent in order to achieve the life you want, but don’t be mad if some days don’t work out as you hoped. Remember, there is no simple fix. You can’t just push a button to program yourself to be different, but you are worth the hard work. Always choose what serves you! Choose what makes you happy!
